What does fleas look like on a dog or cats skin?

Answers:
A flee is like they said a small dark brown little bug. They will also jump. So if you see one, one minute its there and the next it just seems to disappear because it has jumped to another area. Be careful - if you get them in your house they can multiply by the 100's and the bad thing is the eggs they lay can survive in your carpet for up to a year before hatching.
my cat used 2 hav fleas... its like small black bugs crawling around or clenching onto the animal they can hurt the dog or cat super bad!! if ur dog or cat is scratching real bad chances r they hav fleas!!
Fleas are very small teardrop shaped brown or black bugs. They're quick, though. You're more likely to see "flea dirt"... flea droppings from their blood meal. If you see little black dots or flecks on the animal's skin, you can confirm that they are flea droppings by putting them in water... they will turn red.
