What does it mean when a dog licks you?

when a dog is licking you, it is kissing you. He must really love you very much. =)

They do it out of affection an also do lick the salt content of your face, it helps them when they get too warm. Although if you kiss them a lot then they pick of the habit of kissing you back by licking you.
lol I usually just grab it by it's tounge and start yanking it... The dog starts gagging and it's funny.
