There are3-4 weeks to it. 1 week going in when there is some swelling at the vulva, 1 week in, some clear discharge is present from her vulva, and 1-2 weeks going out, when the discharge becomes bloody, and brownish colored
When a ***** is in "heat" she is ready to be bred. That is what female humans or any species (for that matter) do when they want to conceive offspring.
A female dog goes in heat usually every 6 months ( if not spayed). The heat cycle lasts 21 days. She will let a male bred her while in heat. The first signs of heat are a swollen vulva %26 a bloody discharge.
