What does this mean?

My dog sleeps in a cage at night by me and he has a food and water bowl in the cage as well as two big thick blankets and all of his toys. At night he will move his blankets over his food bowls, what does this mean?
Answers:
It is a born instinct that dogs have. It comes from burrying their bones. He is trying to hide his food from others. My dog sometimes hides her treats under things.
maybe he doesn't like the food bowls being in his cage at night.
There's no need to put food and water in his crate over night - he can easily go that long without either.
Just make sure he has water available all day long.
It means you have too much stuff in the crate and he just wants More room to stretch out in.
Your dog doesnt need food or water in the crate at night either.
He's probably hot and wants to sleep on the bare floor of the crate. Also, it's not a good idea to fill his crate with all kinds of stuff, maybe just water if the container is fastened to the side so it won't be spilled.
It means that he doesn't want food and water in his crate at night.. It encourages him to eat and drink and pee and poop in the crate. They cover the food cause they don't want it.. Saving it til later.. Bury it..
There is absolutely no need to put food nor water in the cage at night. He doesn't need to eat but 2 times daily. And he doesn't need water in there for the fact he'll drink more %26 have to pee (If cannot control bladder). Which he could possible pee in cage.
Take the food/water out of the cage. I use to have old towels in my puppies crate but, she started to pee on them. So, now she has no blankets or anything like that.
Your dog has been reading Miss Manners. He doesn't want to hurt your feelings. He is telling you in a nice way that the food you buy sucks! Buy better food. I feed mine IAMS.
