well it really depends on your lifestyle. You should never never get a dog because they are cute or the IN breed! If you have allergies you might want to stay away from the pom or golden retr. If you are in an apartment the pom would be great. If you dont have a whole lot of timefor grooming than stay away from the pom though. Try a local shelter though, www.petfinder.com
either golden retriever or a pomeranian. pitbulls and dobbies can get very aggressive with their owners and others.
It depends on if it's a first time dog get a beagle.pit bulls are getting banned in a couple of states i think but a golden will be the best for any family!
Well, considering that I don't know you and you gave no description about what you want, then I have no idea which dog is the best for you.
well that depends. what is ur lifestyle like. could u exercise a dog a lot. how often r u home. what r ur work hours. how much time do u actually have to train a puppy. do u have enough money to care for the dog. give us a little more detail and maybe we can help u. there is sooo much more to owning a dog than just figuring out what breed u want. and just a little side note. u need to research the breeds u like and u need to find out what is best for u. people on here r going to either tell u the breed of dog THEY have or they r going to tell u THEIR favorite breed. this is ur decision to make not people on here. so do research. visit a shelter and look for a dog. and seriously look at the things i listed above
mini dachshund
Well, I don't know you or your lifestyle so I can't really help without more details.
Poms have grooming needs, can be barky or territorial, small though and apts are fine. Not a good kid dog, can be stepped on or dropped, can be nippy.
Golden's shed like crazy, are somewhat drooly, usually friendly need exercise daily. Pretty quiet...Good with kids, usually
Pits can be dog aggressive or cat chasers, minimal grooming, friendly towards all people if socialized properly and are from good bloodlines (not human aggressive ones, they were never bred for that!) need exercise daily. great with kids and other pets if raised with them. A firm but loving owner.
Pinschers? the mini or the larger? minis are yappier and territorial, not great with kids. The larger, minimal grooming, need socialization and exercise a firm but loving owner as they can be dominant. Can be territorial or (over)protective of the owner/owner's family.
Insurance companies and/or Condo or apts. do not like working breeds or pit type breeds. Some will not allow dobies or pits, or shepherds, ridgebacks, rotts, boxers etc.check before you get one, very sad to have to give it up because you can't keep it...
i don't know anything about you, so this question is impossible to answer. add some details about your habits and personality, then we can give you a real answer.
Depends how much experience you have.. how much time you have for training and exercising.. And it depends on what you are looking for in a dog.. All the breeds you mention are very different breeds..
It's Doberman PINSCHER ..
Well, what are you and or situation like? Do you live in a house or an apartment? Have a big yard or a small community lot? Do you have a lot of time to devote to training? Grooming? Do you have a family with small children? Property you want to protect? Poms are good for apartments and single people who can get them groomed often. Golden Retrievers are good for familys in a house but require a lot of grooming. Pits and Dobies are good for people with a lot of yard and can be ok for families if raised properly. It all depends on your circumstance. When asking the question the way you are, you are really saying "What type of dog do YOU like best?" We don't know you so how can we decide for you?
