I don't know if loud is the worst or that incredibly high pitch some of the little dogs have.
Or the high pitched, non-stop barker. That's way worse than just loud.
Pomeranians, Jack Russels, and Doxies tend to be the "loudest". Not all of them, of course! No hate mail please people!

I have a deaf bulldog and he has the most annoying loud yippy weird bark thing that he does...mostly at shadows and his reflection. Horrible.

Out of the toy dogs Italian Greyhound those chihuahuas and malteses are very high pitched and squeaky. Italian Greyhounds have this loud deep sound. It sounds like a big dog. They have lungs the same size as a regular greyhound i believe

Hound dogs have a very loud deep howl, and Huskies have a distinct voice, it almost sounds like a person talking. I don't know which one is louder, but they both stick out to me.

small dogs with a higher pitch voice will sound loud when you are closer to them but their voices dont carry as far as say a mastiff that has a deep bark. the deeper the pitch the farther the sound will carry. Hounds have the deepest bark/howl that carry on longer than a quick bark so over all id say a hound. If refering to how loud just in terms of decibals than all dogs relatively have abrk that is about 120 hertz so its more so what dog has the highest or lowest frequency. human ears can hear between 20hz-20khz (average) and sound begins to feel painful to a humans ears at about 120hz so dogs bark is right on the cusp of what is painful to a humans ears.

I would think the most feared dogs of the world are Pit Bulls. Scares most Mother's away, I know for a fact. Just because the media. In my opinion, if any house has a Pincher, Chow, Rotti, or German Shepperd, no criminal is dumb enough to even try. Dogs with the biggest ego? The tiny little toy dogs are the ones. The loudest dog...? Ask the neighbors.
