What do i do if someone whats to take my dog away?

I have a min pin and in my neighborhood it says that a few types of dogs are not allowed and the one i have is one of them. He has been living with me a year and a half and before i adopted him the office agreed and later that person was fired and there is still the new manager and they said we have to give him away. Does anyone know what to do since i don't really have money to move out and find a better place?
Answers:
You need documentation to prove it. You paying your pet deposit (I am assuming you did this) would leave a record in your file. Go to the office and ask them to look this up. Of course, I am sure it asked you what kind of dog it is, and you would have indicated it. Alot of people who want to avoid paying the pet deposit, of course would not have record, and they tend to use a similar excuse like this one, not saying yours is an excuse, but that is how you would go about it if what your saying is true. If not, then you have to choose whether or not you are going to move or get rid of your dog. I would personally move.
well there int really anything to do if it's illegal. or go to court and fight for it. but u probably cant afford it. I would move out.
best of luck to you!
Call Legal Aid. The ok was given for you to have this dog by someone who was equiped to make the rules and speak for the company. The fact that person left the position does not change the fact that an OK was given and you acted on it. Your dog should be 'grandfathered' in, not subject to new rules.
Legal Aid is in the phone book, they work pro bono (free) so they can advise you or draw up a letter from them to your neighborhood office. Don't wait on this, you need to act as soon as possible.
You have really confused me here. What is the reason that a minpin would be a dog not allowed? Usually that distinction is reserved for large breed dogs who are on the top ten dangerous list. Minpins are not one of those breeds. And just who would be "taking" your dog away? That is illegal, unless it is animal control. I think something else is going on here.
I am really sorry to sat this but, you might really have to give your dog up. I dont have any other advice. So sorry.
I have no idea why anyone would ban MinPins, esp as I have 5 now and have done rescue for years and never heard of some small dogs not being allowed. I'm not sure a breed ban would be legal. Check your lease or neighborhood agreement you signed. IMPS is a MinPin rescue in all of the USA and a few people in Canada if you must rehome the dog.
Talk to your Vet and see if you can talk to a free public law office.
A MinPin is NOT related to a Doberman Pinscher... It is more like a small terrier, than a large dog. Most rules talk about 'dangerous' dogs, not little dogs that think that they are big. IF your dog is not mean, vicious, or dangerous, then it should be allowed like any other dog.
However, if NO dogs are allowed, then you may have to find a friend to help take the dog.
But this situation will require some research on your part to educate people about your specific dog.
A min-pin is not allowed?? Says who? On what grounds? That they're vicious?? Ridiculous. Did the previous person commit anything to writing?
Being your dog has already been allowed to live there for over a year I dont understand why there would be a problem, unless you have specific complaints against it that you could work to correct. Maybe you could offer to get your pup certified as a canine good citizen. You can do this w/ a few classes.
If you got this in writing that this can be treated as agreement/contract.
If not, then it's going to be "he-said/she-said"
for my dogs, i'd go to prison for them. but, for you go to qurt and fight for you and your dog's rights. WHATS DOG SPELLED BACKWARDS?? GOD.
