What do i do to get my chiuahuia to loose weight because he is fat?

If your dog is overweight, the best thing to do is change his diet. Petco and Petsmart carry a variety of brands, ranging in price and quality, and they are weight management diets. Nutro brand "natural choice" food is a good bet, and you can get the light dry kibble, which is formulated for weight loss.
I would feed dry kibble, as it is better for their teeth than wet food. I would also look for an all natural brand of food with human grade meat, because the animal byproducts that are used in cheaper dog foods often contain more fat. I would also increase the activity level for the dog, and increase the water consumption to make sure that everything is flowing properly. Hope that helps!
Take him for a walk everyday.
you can try cutting back on his food a little bit, changing his food to a food specifically for smaller breeds and try not to give him "people" food that is high in fat. You can also try exercising him more. There are foods available for weight maintenance.
smaller meals, more walks, no treats
Cut down his food by one third per day. This should make a difference in his weight. Cut out all treats and give him more exercise.
Good food, less food, less treats and more exercise.
i have 3 silkys and 1 foxy..they are from 5yrs to 10yrs old.get ur dog vet chekd 1st,they may have weght control food to buy ther, bit mor xpensive, but within 3wks you wil notice the loss, with agood walk everyday, you wil also enjoy this time..stick to the routine dog, make sure "no snaks".be firm.you l both hav a longer healthier life together,cheers..ps my foxy is ovr weight,i combine boiled chik, rice an pasta,in meals.no beef..its working..
You could cut back on his food but in order to not have him feel hungry give him baby carrots, broccoli, green beans, apples, oranges to fill him up. You can cut the veggies and fruit up and stick it in with his food or you can toss a baby carrot, broccoli, orange or apple pieces to him as a "chew toy". You can offer the cut up fruit and vegetables as a reward for doing tricks for you (which can help him burn energy). You can also take him for walks or play games in the house (if he is more of a couch potato).
less food and more exercise
I have a chiuahuia who weighed 13 pounds and we started walkin almost everyday and he lost about 5 pounds so just take him for a walk
