Cows milk doesn't settle with dogs very well.
And Pedigree dog food is about the worst you can get. (Here is a review of it: http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_... .) You need to get a high quality, nutritional dog food.
There is no need for any extra supplements, etc. if you are feeding a good dog food, the food will be nutritionally complete.
As far as the training goes, sign up for an obedience class. It will not only train the dog, but also trains you how to react during training and at home for the most effective outcome.
For the chewing, he is a puppy, so teething is to be expected at this age. Make sure he has plenty of toys to chew on. Bully sticks are great too (and they are digestible, unlike rawhide, so they don't cause blockages).

On choosing a dog food (or in your case, the puppy food counterpart of the brand you choose; since your dog is only 3 months old, it needs puppy food):
Read the ingredients on the food you buy. Go with a high quality dog food. A grain should not be in the first couple ingredients ingredient (corn and such are mainly fillers, dogs don't digest it well). Avoid foods that have a lot of "by products" listed.
Here is an article about byproducts:

Some GOOD foods are :
* Merrick - http://www.merrickpetcare.com/
* Solid Gold - http://www.solidgoldhealth.com/...
* Canidae - http://www.canidae.com/
* Timberwolf - http://timberwolforganics.com/
* Orijen - http://www.championpetfoods.com/orijen/o...
* Wellness - http://www.omhpet.com/wellness/...
* Chicken Soup brand - http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssou...
* Innova - http://www.naturapet.com/brands/innova.a...
* Innova EVO - http://www.naturapet.com/brands/evo.asp...
Or check this website for good foods: http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_...
(I recommend only feeding foods rated 4, 5, or 6 stars. Anything 3 stars or less, I would stay away from.)

Stay away from grocery stores brands. They are low-quality foods chalk full of fillers, preservatives, dyes, etc.. (Grocery store foods are those like Beneful, Old Roy, Alpo, Pedigree, Purina, etc.)
Beware "premium" foods. "Premium" does not mean good nutritionally, and is not a nutritionally high quality food. It has the same types of ingredients as grocery store foods, just a bit better quality of those not-so-good ingredients. (Premium foods are those like Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, etc..)
Another thing to be wary of: A lot of vets will recommend what they sell in their office. They get profit from the brands they keep on their shelves, that's why they push it. Truth is, vet schools don't focus a lot on nutrition. It's not saying that a vet is a bad vet because he recommends those foods, a lot of vets just are told "this is good food", so they pass the message along without proper nutrition knowledge. Also, some dog food brands (like Hills) support vet schools, so vets have heard of it from the time they start college, which makes them think it's good as well.

It may seem like the initial cost of the better food is more expensive, but it really isn't in the long run. Right now, you're feeding your dog fillers. Your dog eats more to try to get the nutrition it needs, and most of the food just passes right on through. By feeding better food, your dog will eat less (and poop less, so less cleanup for you!). Also, it will make your animals healthier, so you save money on vet bills in the long run.

"Big box" petstores like Petco and Petsmart rarely have quality foods.
Your best bets for getting quality dog food are:
- small, locally owned petstores
- dog boutiques
- farm supply stores

When switching foods, do it gradually. I do this over about a two week timespan:
25% food A, 75% food B
50% food A, 50% food B
75% food A, 25% food B
100% food A
.
Don't give your dog milk and personally I would not feed him Pedigree either. I prefer Innova or Nature's Recipe kibble for my dogs.
I feed my lab puppy (7 months old) science diet large breed.
I recommend that you follow whatever dietary advice your vet gave you.
As for the chewing, he's a puppy and a lab, so it is to be expected. However, you absolutely can train him that he can't chew on things. When you catch him chewing on something give him a firm no, and then give him an appropriate chew toy.
ok...as for me, ALPO is the best dog food ever made! i'm an owner of a female labrador, male shi tzuh, male chow chow and some mix-breeds..it's normal for a 3 months old puppy to chew anything!my labrador is now like 3 years old, and she still chews my slippers and shoes to pieces!
by the way, don't give eggs! they're so high-cholesteroled and don't meet the nutrients dogs really need.
I would advise you to feed your puppy Iams Lamb and Rice dry food. You don't need to supplement that with anything except plain water. Dry food is also better for their teeth, because not so much food gets stuck in and on their teeth.
He can be expected to "hold it" as many hours as he is months. So, right now try and walk him every three to four hours and slowly increase that as he ages.
Good exercise for a dog is fetch. It gives them a chance to really stretch their legs and and work their muscles. If you can find any small hills, try to get him to run up them. Running hills really helps larger dogs develop good muscle tone in their hind quarters and can help to prevent poor hips as the dog ages.
As far as training - look for a local obedience class at a kennell or something. Check your local paper. They can teach you a lot about how to teach your dog commands, plus it is a great opportunity to socialize your puppy with other dogs as well as people.
depends on how old the dog is...exersise routine is down to u..i walk my dogs late morning coz i have to wait for them to get up..i dont do the 7am walks bugger that hehe..you get into a routine that suits you and your dog, feeding wise id opt for raw my 3 dogs are fed raw and the change is amazing hardly any poo etc and its cheap, rw can be fed to puppies and the change you start to see as i say is amazing i wish id done it sooner...chew wise i like to share this pearl of wisdom of mine...ice pops, they are cold so in turn will cool his gums, also put his toys in the freezer over nite so when he gets them in the morning they will be icy cold ..and vice versa..put some toys in during the day so he has something to munch on should he wake in the nite coz his teeth are sore..ice pops are fine for the dog and he will love you for it ..if you are interersted in the raw feeding feel free to mail so i can give you the info on ammounts etc and i will give you the name of the forum im joined to they are excellent,(cant rem. the name off hand iv got it on my fav. file on my puter the raw diet is worth thinking about xx
Do not feed your dog milk... I know they love it but it is bad for their digestion. Giving him a small bit a week should not do any harm for the treat. Or even water it down a bit.
Eggs are good- great source of protein and gives a shine on the pups coat but I would suggest giving him dried nuts mixed up with his Pedegree Chicken, it is great for developing teeth and will save you on your food budget!
Labradors are very active but for a 3 month pup, I suggest bringing him for a walk for about 20 minutes everyday. when he grows, just prolong the walk.
Puppies are known for chewing everything that crosses their paths! Have you tried getting him a variety of chew toys? If you want to train him, loud bangs (clapping your hands even) when they are about to do something wrong is another way of telling him.
Hope this helps...
Best of Luck!!!!
u shud give him food twice a day and u shud give him puppy food.
Yeah u hav 2 give calcium and other minerals so he's free of dieseases
