So I wanted to get a cute little dog but my mom said that i couldn't get one because we already have 2 dogs but the 2 dogs are my sisters dogs and I wanted to get a dog myself. Can any of you think of a reason or an excuse why I should get the dog cause I've always wanted my very own dog sence I was 4 years old...
Answers:
Well maybe you should help ot more with the other 2 dogs. She has a right to tell you no. 3 dogs is alot for a kid to handle. Show her that you are respons. then later she might let you get a dog.
Learn to spell first.
Anyway, why would you want another dog in the house? Isn't 2 enough? Can't you all share the dogs?
dogs are expensive to take care of. Your mom probably just cannot afford a 3rd dog.
Why not help take care of the other dogs? You can walk them and play with them.. groom them, train them and clean up after them.
cry.that'll work.
Haha. I wish I could ask my friend right know because she is the QUEEN of getting animals. If your mom is the type to just melt when she sees animals, I would suggest trying to get the puppy to your house somehow. Then let her fall in love. Just tell her all the upsides to the dog. (Is he super sweet and possibley all ready potty trained? Big plus!). Good luck.
Don't get a cute little dog peopel look stupid when they're walking around with dogs in their bags. When the other dogs die say you need a new dog to fill the void.
It's pretty hard to have 3 dogs in the house, but if you think that you have enough space and have enough money to care for them all then you should tell your mother. Tell her you will pay for its food, get its shots up to date, walk it every day etc. Make sure she knows that you are responsible enough to have one of your own.
You could also tell her that you feel lonely in the house because everyone has their own best friend.
Well, if you like one of your sisters dogs more than the other, just make it your dog, take it with you and play with it more. If you really want that "cute little dog", then tell your mom that you already have two dogs but their your sister's dogs and you want a dog that you can have as your own. Just keep bothering her about getting the dog and use the same excuse until you find another excuse, then you'll have two excuses and she will probably give in. Lol
How old are you? Im assuming you are quite young if you are still at home, so what is going to happen to the dog when you leave home/start work? Can you afford the vet's bills, food, training, toys etc? It might live for 15 years, which is a massive commitment, and if you are young you should be going out having fun, enjoying your social life, travelling and so on, without being tied down by a dog :-) Unless you plan to buy a house you will have problems finding somewhere to live, as most landlords won't let you have pets. I know how you feel as I have always wanted a dog, but there is plenty of time and you will appreciate it more if you wait until you have the right lifestyle!!
