Answers:
If you are too busy, then you shouldn't have a dog. They require time and care. You need to take him to the vet so he can get antibiotics. He may go blind if you don't.
ADD:
You can at least ask a family member or friend to take him to the vet for you. I suggest you find him another home.
What do you mean you're 'too busy'? For pity sake there is something horribly wrong with your dog's eyes. Would you let her go blind or have serious problems just because you can't find time?
And if you're THAT busy why do you have a dog?
Best advice you ever get
"TAKE HIM TO THE VET!"
it might just be an infection but its better than losing a family member(the dog)
Your dog probably has an eye infection. I think you can buy over the counter medicine for the eyes. If not, take him/her to the vet to get a prescription.
If you're so busy, why do you have a dog? His eye is severely infected, if it is bad as you have described it to be. If left untreated, the dog could possibly go blind in that eye.
If you don't have time for him, then for the dog's sake, find him a home with someone who will actually care for him.
It sound like he has an infection. Have you tried washing around his eye with warm soapy water. Clean it really good and see if there is a cut around his eye. If there is use more soapy water and clean it even better in the wound and put some neosporen on it. Do this often. Like 2 or 3 times a day. If the eye is cut, you need to find some time or ask some else to take him to the vet. If the infection is too bad, he may have to be on antibiotics.
try washing his eye in warm salty water and try to open the eye to see if there is any damage to his eye if not try the salty water for a week or two if no different id suggest that u make the time to take him to the vet
First of all, if you didn't have enough time for the dog to take him to the vet, or for that matter even get him..why did you get a dog in the first place. Your too busy? You left the dog for two months, the dogs eye is infected...you come back to see the poor thing and your ''TOO BUSY''? Take him to the vet and if you can't get someone who CAN take the dog please. If your still... "too busy" then please give the dog to someone who will care for the animal and isn't ''too busy'' to show the poor dog some love and attention..
Having a pet includes giving it care when it is needed. Even though you are busy, your pet needs immediate care. He obviously has an infection. You don't want your pet to suffer, do you? Regardless of your other activities, your friend needs help, SO CALL THE VET NOW.
There is nothing else that any of us can say to help the situation, and there is no other choice: call the vet. Better to be safe than sorry.
It sounds like he does have some kind of infection. Unfortunately, you need to take him to the vet. If you don't you will risk losing his sight in that eye. It wouldn't take long for the vet. You could set up a lunch appointment, or bring him to work for a day. Maybe the neighbor could watch him?
Part of being a pet owner is taking responsibility for them, just like children. If you are unwilling or unable to make time to care for your pets, then you should consider giving him to someone that has more time on their hands.
He needs to see a vet...no time is not an excuse! He has had bite and has an infection, if not something worse!
Get him to the vet A.S.AP..in the mean time, take a warm wash cloth and wash it's eye clear of the build up.
GO TO THE VET.--OR-- SURRENDER YOUR DOG TO SOMEONE WHO WILL!
It sounds like your dog has a bad infection. Why didn't the person who was caring for your dog take him to the vet if they knew he was bitten?? The poor dog, at least clean the eye., but it has gone too long for home remedies. You may want to re-home the poor dog if you don't have time for him. That would be the responsible thing to do. Please just take care of your poor dog;~(
I certainly hope you are joking (and, if you are, you have a terrible sense of humor).
Why didn't your neighbor, who I presume was the one in charge, take the dog in to be check if s/he knew that the dog had been bitten?
And, if you are sooo incredibly busy that you cannot take this animal (which is your responsibility) to the vet, how do have time to play around on the internet?
Take the dog to the vet.
Or, surrender it to a no-kill shelter, along with your other dog.
Then, have no more pets again.
First off, if you are too busy to take your dog to the vet for proper care, then you should NOT have a dog or any animal. Either way, his eye is more than likely infected and needs medical care right away (if your too busy have a friend take him). If you don't, it will get even worse and he will probably lose the eye.
you can't be to BUSY !! you had time to post your question on here ! take your dog to the vet ! he could loose his eye !!
Sorry ,but it is your responsibility to take your pet to a vet just like you would one of your children.Would you be too busy to do that?Try cleaning the pets eye with an eye wash purchased at any drugstore. Then purchase an ophthalmic ointment called Terramycin and apply to your pets eye as directed. This can be purchased at any local feed store and if your pets eye isn't scratched or damaged, this will clear it up.
find a good home for your dog if you are to busy to take him to the vet then you shouldn't own teh dog. By law where I live it is a case of cruelty if a dog need to be seen by a vvet and the owner doesn't provide care.
If this was a child or yourself I'm sure you would find the time so go
Your dog maybe even loosing teh eye do to your neglect.
Not only you but whouever was taking care of the dog during the time you were gone is guilty of cruelty.
You don't deserve a dog if you are to busy to take him to the vet. Get a glass of warm water not hot. Open his eye and pour it on his eye, like rinsing it.
Ask someone else to take care of your dog. Your don't care about your dog.
If Your to busy to take Your dog to a Vet You are to busy to own a dog. Penicillin from Your local Ag. supply.
He desperately needs some antibiotics. If you honestly can't afford it , and if I were in your position, I would use some old unused ones from the medicine chest or a from a friend's medicine chest. That would be off label use. They do sell livestock antibiotics at farm supply stores, but you aren't supposed to use them off label. Just because they are sold to be IM doesn't mean they can't be given by a dropper by mouth. That is a choice you have to make because off label use would be illegal. But your dog does have to have some antibiotics of some sort.
take a warm washcloth and gently wipe his eyes at least twice a day until he is able to open his eye. he probably just has a cut on the inside of his eye. also try to keep him away from the other dogs because they may try fighting again and cause even worse injuries. try keeping an eye on him to make sure he doesn't try to scratch his eye while it is heeling because it will only make it worse. good luck and i hope he gets better
